Phase 1: Discovery & Collection
Every project begins with a personalized consultation to understand your lifestyle, design goals, and how you use your space. During our first meeting, we'll walk through your home together, discussing the areas you'd like to transform. I’ll offer initial ideas and expert guidance on layout, furniture placement, color palettes, window treatments, fabrics, flooring, and renovation possibilities.
After our visit, I’ll provide a preliminary budget estimate and ask you to complete a design questionnaire, including a Pinterest board or visual references that reflect your style. This foundational step ensures we’re aligned from the start—and that every design decision is made with intention.
Phase 2: Design Development
Next, we refine the vision. We’ll return to your home to take detailed measurements and present a curated design board that captures your style and inspiration. This step ensures we’re aligned on the aesthetic direction before moving into the full design.
Once the design board is approved, I begin crafting a cohesive concept tailored to your lifestyle—blending your personal taste with the signature Amber Marques Interiors look. From function to form, every piece is thoughtfully chosen to enhance how you live in your space.
For remodels and new construction, we’ll also hold a Finish Selections Meeting to finalize materials, fixtures, and surface details. While this process can be iterative, it’ll allow us to confidently confirm the overall design direction and lock in all finish selections—bringing us one step closer to your dream home.
Phase 3: Sourcing & Presentation
With the design direction finalized, we move into sourcing. I begin selecting furniture, lighting, and accessories tailored to your home and lifestyle. You’ll receive detailed proposals for each room, with the opportunity to approve your favorite pieces and request changes as needed. I offer up to two revised options per room to ensure everything feels just right.
Once selections are refined, we’ll meet for a full design presentation. I’ll walk you through each space, sharing floor plans, material samples, and a detailed budget breakdown. This collaborative session allows us to review every design decision together, giving you a clear picture of how it all comes together—and a chance to share your feedback before moving forward.
Phase 4: Purchasing & Logistics
Once your invoice is paid, I begin placing orders for all approved selections. Please note that all purchases are final sale once processed, as items are custom-ordered specifically for your project.
I’ll keep you updated with estimated delivery timelines as products are shipped. All retail items will be delivered directly to my trusted receiving warehouse, where each piece is carefully inspected for quality and damage. Items are securely stored until the majority of your order has arrived and is ready for installation.
This streamlined process helps ensure everything is accounted for and in perfect condition—so your home comes together seamlessly.
Phase 5: Installation & Reveal
The final step—the big reveal! We schedule a dedicated day to install and style each space, transforming your home into the sanctuary we’ve envisioned together. Every detail is placed with care, ensuring your space feels polished, personal, and complete.
